Although both vehicles are third-row seating, the Traverse has the ability to seat eight, while the Grand Cherokee seats seven. Kelley Blue Book notes, “the Chevrolet Traverse is the biggest SUV in its class.” Overall, the Traverse beats the Grand Cherokee in luggage capacity, comfort and passenger space. It’s a great roomy, family-friendly SUV listed at a reasonable price. It offers plenty of room, decent fuel economy and high safety ratings.
