GM has recently announced that the 2022 Chevy Equinox will now be available with Automatic Parking Assist. Automatic Parking Assist will be available on the Premier trim level only, which is bundled as part of the Driver Confidence III package. It will be automatically added to the Premier trim models that are equipped with the Confidence and Convenience II package. This feature helps drivers easily reverse or maneuver into parking spaces. While the Assist takes care of the steering aspect of the parking process, the driver is still responsible for braking, acceleration and gear shifting as needed.
