Despite considerable challenges, 2021 was another great year for Phillips Chevrolet! In January, our Frankfort location was named DealerRater’s 2021 Dealer of the Year for Chevrolet. This award is presented to the dealership that has earned the highest ratings among approximately 3,000 Chevy dealers in the United States. Our Lansing and Bradley locations also earned DealerRater’s Consumer Satisfaction Award which is presented to the top 10 percent of U.S. new-car dealers based on consumer ratings.
In February, we were once again named the Number One Selling Chevy Dealer in Illinois, for the 15th year in a row, and Lansing landed in the top ten for the 6th year in a row. Several of our product specialists also earned individual honors with Rami Alamawi retaining his spot at number one, and a total of fourteen of our Product Specialists among the Top 100 for sales in the region.
In March, our Frankfort and Bradley locations were both recognized with the CarGurus Top Rated Dealer award, given to car dealerships that have a 4.5-star average rating or higher.
In May, our Lansing location hosted an American Red Cross blood drive that collected 41 total units of blood - each unit donated can help save up to three lives. May also saw the return of Car Shows at our Bradley location with the Caleb’s Prayer Foundation’s benefit car show, which helps local families impacted by cancer. Lansing’s cruise nights, sponsored by Phillips Chevrolet, also returned this summer.
In June we were visited by a team from DealerRater, here to commemorate Frankfort Sales Specialist Rami Alamawi achieving over 1,000 five star reviews on their platform. Rami’s achievement was shared widely on DealerRater’s social media channels.
In August, we were awarded the J.D. Power Dealer of Excellence Award which recognizes select dealerships throughout the United States for exceptional customer service. This is the third year in a row that we have earned this honor.
We dedicated the month of October to raising money for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. We raised a grand total of $10,000. In October, we were also proud to be presented with General Motors’ Dealer of the Year Award for the 17th consecutive year, recognizing our achievements in sales, customer satisfaction and service to the surrounding community.
In November, all three Phillips locations saluted those who serve by offering free oil changes to veterans and active duty service members on Veterans Day.
In December, we were honored by the nomination of Curtis Pascarella, President of Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort, for the 2022 TIME Dealer of the Year Award. He is one of a select group of 47 dealer nominees from across the country who will be honored at the 105th annual National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Show this March. We also joined the Lions Club in their annual coat drive to help give the gift of warmth to families in need.
2021 gave us a lot of challenges but also a lot to celebrate at Phillips Chevrolet, and we couldn’t have done any of it without the support of our loyal customers and the communities we serve. Phillips Chevrolet of Frankfort, Lansing, and Bradley has Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory and a commitment to making 2022 even better!
