Kelley Blue Book recently put the Chevy Equinox to the test, head-to-head against the Mazda CX-5 in a showdown of compact SUVs. We are pleased to report that the Equinox came out on top of the Mazda in spaciousness, affordability, and more. Starting at $25,800 the 2022 Chevrolet Equinox is powered by a 1.5L turbo I4, providing 170hp and 203 lb-ft of torque. One important factor is the cargo volume that both cars provide. While the Equinox measures at 63.9 cubic feet, its competitor falls short at 59.6 cubic feet. Every new Equinox comes with standard driver and safety assists too! This includes lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and so much more. In addition to the Equinox’s safety features, new this year, you can now disable the engine start/stop system allowing for those who love the Equinox, but hate this feature, to disable it with the touch of a button. Phillips Chevrolet of Frankfort, Lansing and Bradley has Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory,  and is proud to have the Equinox as part of our family. Can’t find the Equinox you’re looking for? Check our inbound list! It may be coming to our dealership soon!
