With a 10.4 percent increase in Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban sales this quarter, these noteworthy vehicles have continued to hold their first-place title in the Full-Size SUV segment. With a cumulative 33,869 units sold, the Tahoe comprised 24,202 of those units and the Suburban had a total of 9,667 units sold. With the sales of the Tahoe and Suburban it gave Chevrolet a 47 percent segment share in the Full-Size SUV segment. Some of the success for the sales of these vehicles can be contributed to the overhaul that they both underwent to their engineering and design, making it more ergonomically pleasant for consumers, as well as the fact that the plant where they were produced was one of the only GM plants worldwide that didn’t idle production during the microchip shortage.
