JD Power has just released the results of their Resale Value Awards, and we are pleased to report that the Chevrolet Tahoe has come out at the top of its segment. These awards evaluate resale values in 25 different vehicle segments, looking at 270 different models using data from more than 592,000 transactions to determine which vehicles retained the most value upon resale. This information is especially useful when purchasing a new vehicle to make sure you’ll get the most bang for your buck when eventually trading it in. “Our transaction database shows which models have the lowest depreciation costs, hence providing consumers with a key component in the total cost of ownership of the vehicle they plan to purchase or sell,” said Jonathan Banks, J.D. Powers’ vice president and general manager of vehicle valuations. The Tahoe also earned a reliability award from JD Power earlier this year. Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort, Lansing & Bradley has Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory, including a great selection of award-winning Tahoes in stock now.
