Automatic Emergency Braking can literally be a lifesaver when the system notices a road hazard before you do. In the Chevy Silverado, this advanced safety feature is currently only available in higher trim levels with added safety packages. That is expected to change for 2021 model year when Automatic Emergency Braking is expected to be offered at lower, more affordable trim levels. There’s no word yet on which trim levels will get this new feature, but General Motors CEO is committed to offering more safety features and optional equipment across the line: ““We have done work to ensure that if it’s not standard, it’s available in a first package as opposed to a last package, being receptive to really giving the customer choice.” Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort, Lansing and Bradley has Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory, including a great selection of award-winning Silverados.
