Earlier this year, J.D. Power named the Chevy Tahoe their segment leader in dependability, and just last week we reported that U.S. News and World Report named it to their Most Reliable Cars for Families. Now Consumer Reports has weighed in, scoring the Tahoe high in their three year reliability study. In this study, Consumer Reports surveyed owners of more than 420,000 2017 vehicles from the 2017 model year to learn how reliable they’ve found their vehicles to be. Consumer Reports was impressed by the Tahoe’s combination of comfort and power: “The Tahoe gets top marks for reliability in the 2017 model year and is a good blend of practicality and refinement. It coddles occupants with a quiet, spacious interior, comfortable second-row captain’s chairs, and plenty of soft-padded surfaces. But, being truck-based, it can also tow up to 8,300 pounds if properly equipped.” Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort, Lansing & Bradley has Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory, including a great selection of award-winning Tahoes in stock now.
