JD Power and Associates recently released the results of their Seat Quality and Satisfaction Study, and we are pleased to report that several Chevrolet models top their segments. This study ranks vehicle seats based on the number of reported problems per 100 vehicles on the road. The lower the number of reported problems, the higher the quality of the seats. The Chevy Equinox earned first place among Mass Market Compact SUVs, the Chevy Sonic was the leader in the Mass Market Compact Car Segment, and the Chevy Impala led among Mass Market Midsize/Large Cars. The Silverado also earned a spot in the top three of the Mass Market Truck/Van category. Brent Gruber, senior director of global automotive quality at J.D. Power says, “Brands like Chevy—which have multiple award-winning vehicles this year—have optimized relationships with their seat manufacturers to leverage quality and innovation coupled with a keen understanding of owner needs and expectations for seat comfort and adjustability.” Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort, Lansing, and Bradley has Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory, including many with award-winning comfort!
