Two new technologies coming to the C8 Corvette that are sure to impress at the track are a dedicated burnout mode and launch control. Burnout mode is designed for the drag strip’s burnout box to warm up and clean the Corvette’s rear tires ahead of a race. Once you pull up to the starting line, launch control helps you pull off the line as quickly as possible. Because these tools are designed specifically to maximize performance in the controlled environment of a track or drag strip, we strongly advise against using them on public roads or parking lots.
