Every week we learn a little bit more about the soon-to-be-revealed 8th generation mid-engine Chevrolet Corvette and the event scheduled for its unveiling. This week we learned that the Corvette reveal event scheduled for July 18th will take place somewhere in Orange County, California. An email was discovered this week which was sent to media outlets allowing them to make travel plans for the big event. Southern California’s reliable dry, sunny weather should allow for a spectacular outdoor event. This news comes on the heels of last week’s announcement that production at the Corvette plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky was ramping up, including the addition of 400 new jobs.
