When the Chevy Silverado was redesigned for the 2019 model year, we knew that a new look for the Chevy Suburban wouldn’t be far behind. A convoy of camouflaged Suburbans was recently spotted on the road in Michigan with some exciting clues as to what’s in store for Chevrolet’s biggest SUV. These test Suburbans appear to be sporting an independent rear suspension, which would be a departure from the current generation’s solid rear axle. An independent rear suspension would help smooth out bumpy roads, providing better handling for the driver and a more comfortable ride for everyone onboard.
