The all-new, redesigned 2019 Chevy Silverado has been earning praise thanks to its wide variety of trim levels, cab and bed sizes, and powertrains that can be combined to create the perfect truck for any need. Later this summer, truck fans will have even more engine choices when the new Duramax turbo-diesel 3.0-liter inline-six engine joins the Silverado lineup. This week it was revealed that the new Duramax will provide 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, beating the power of Ford and Ram’s light duty diesels by a healthy margin. The Duramax will be available in Silverados with both rear and four-wheel drive and at most trim levels.
