Every week a few more clues are discovered about the 8th generation mid-engine Chevrolet Corvette, scheduled to be unveiled on July 18th. This week we’ve learned that the big reveal will take place at 6pm local time on the 18th, with a few hours of preliminary events including a collection of Corvettes on display from local car owners. The location of the reveal event has also been narrowed down to Tustin, California, though the specific venue is yet to be revealed. We’ve also learned that production of the C7 Corvette should wind down by the end of July, leading to a 10 week period in which the assembly plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky is retooled to start building the C8 Corvette. That means we might see the new Corvette start rolling off the assembly line this fall. The big day is now less than a month away, but in the meantime stay tuned to this blog for the latest Corvette news as it happens!
