As we count down the days to the reveal of the 8th generation mid-engine Chevrolet Corvette, we can’t forget to commemorate the 66th anniversary of the iconic sports car. The Corvette first went into production on June 30, 1953, marking the beginning of its first generation, C1. In the years since, we’ve seen the Corvette get better and better through seven generations. We’ll soon find out how much better the Corvette’s eighth generation will be, as the mid-engine C8 Corvette is scheduled to be revealed in a special event on July 18th, less than three weeks away!
