Chevrolet recently invited journalists to take a spin in a Chevy Equinox through an obstacle course designed to demonstrate the risks of drowsy driving. Drivers were fitted with a weighted vest and wristbands to simulate muscle exhaustion, and computer-enhanced goggles to simulate the vision impairment related to driving while sleepy. Drivers found it difficult to maintain lane position and steady speed, and struggled to navigate tight corners.
