After months of spotting camouflaged test mules out and about, we finally get our first look at the all-new, redesigned 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD. Chevrolet released images of the heavy duty truck earlier today and announced that it will make its official public debut in February, most likely right in our own back yard at the Chicago Auto Show. The new Silverado HD takes some design cues from its recently redesigned little brother, the Silverado 1500, including an aggressive grille design and rounded wheel wells. But it also boasts new features all its own, like a side Bedstep that allows easy access to bed and advanced trailering technologies to make towing easier than ever before. “We set out to make a statement with the 2020 Silverado HD and wanted to visually capture the power and capability of the truck,” said Brian Izard, lead exterior designer for Silverado HD. “The result is a truck that looks like a piece of heavy machinery with modern, chiseled finishes and customer-focused details.” Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort, Lansing and Bradley has Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory, including a huge selection of trucks which the new Silverado HD will join next year.
