As the arrival of the highly anticipated 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 gets closer, we’re learning more about its incredible performance capabilities. The ZR1 recently travelled to Germany’s Automotive Testing Papenburg, one of the largest automotive proving grounds in the world, where it officially recorded a top speed of 212 miles per hour. As the most powerful Corvette ever built, the ZR1’s LT5 supercharged engine is rated at an SAE-certified 755 horsepower Automotive Testing Papenburg. ATP is one of the largest automotive proving grounds in the world – that’s 105 more horses than the Corvette Z06! And 715 pound feet of torque provide a 0 to 60 time under three seconds! The more we learn about the ZR1, the more we can’t wait to see it in person when it arrives in our showroom. Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort, Lansing and Bradley has Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory, including a great selection of Corvettes which the ZR1 will join this spring
