As we all eagerly anticipate the arrival the 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 later this year, it’s worth considering how well the last generation ZR1 has fared in resale value. The C7 ZR1 was only produced for one year – 2019 – and less than 3,000 examples were built and sold. The base price of a 2019 ZR1 was $122,095 for a coupe or $129,095 for the convertible. Today, a 2019 ZR1 in excellent condition is expected to sell for between $187,000 and $224,000, showing a considerable increase in value over only 6 years. C7 ZR1s in good condition are still expected to sell for more than they were initially purchased, to the tune of $161,700 - $187,000. Only time will tell if the upcoming C8 ZR1 will show a similar return on investment, but with a 5.5L, twin-turbocharged DOHC flat-plane crank V8 engine, the most powerful V8 ever produced by an automaker in America, we expect that it will be a collectors item for many years to come.
