For the 2025 model year, the Silverado EV RST will feature “Sidewinder” mode, which allows the rear wheels to steer in the same direction as the front wheels at speeds up to 20 mph, making it easy to avoid off-road obstacles or even just slide into a parallel parking spot. Even better, this ability will be sent to 2024 Silverado EV RST models, via an over-the-air update. This is in addition to a range increase for the 2025 year, of 492 miles of range on a full charge, an over 50 mile improvement on the 2024 model’s already industry leading 440 miles of range.
