Production for the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado began late last month and we can’t wait for them to arrive on dealership lots this spring. In anticipation of its arrival, we wanted to highlight some of the coolest features that were noted by The Newswheel, an online source for automotive news. Not only did they highlight enhanced technology within the vehicle, but they mentioned its power, storage, and added trim level for this model. Inside the cabin its infotainment system gets an update from 2022’s 8-inch screen to an 11.3-inch system. Continuing with the technology aspect, it will feature 10 different camera views with an underbody camera offered on the Z71 and ZR2. It’ll also come standard with Hitch Guidance, Hitch View, and the Trailering App, all to assist in helping you line up your truck to your trailer. To close off the technology specs, it will have an Off-Road Performance Display which will display real-time statistics for things such as altitude, GPS navigation, tire pressure, and g-force. In terms of storeage, the Colorado will feature a watertight StowFlex Tailgate, which is a lockable storage compartment accessible when the tailgate is folded down which can be used as a cooler or for basic storage needs. As a reminder, the Colorado will come standard with a 2.7L Turbo engine churning out 237 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque. Lastly, in addition to the last year’s WT, LT, Z71, and ZR2, the 2023 model will offer for the first time ever a Trail Boss model, which was only previously available on the Silverado.
