Chevrolet recently announced that the beloved Camaro will retire in the 2024 model year. That being said, GM Authority learned that the production of the new 2024 Camaro will begin on August 7th 2023. The 2024 Camaro will be available in a new Collector’s Edition package and the sixth-gen sports car will offer a special farewell edition model as well. GM didn’t give specifics as to what the 2024 Collector’s Edition would be, they hinted that it, “pays homage to Camaro, resurfacing ties that date back to the development of the first-generation Camaro in the 1960s, most notably the program’s initial codename: Panther.” Orders for the Collector’s Edition will begin this summer.
