Chevrolet’s fan-favorite full-size SUVs began production earlier this month and recently, the prices have been revealed! Both vehicles will be the third model year, with the Suburban on it’s twelfth-generation nameplate and the Tahoe on its fifth. Consumers will have six trim levels to choose from- LS, LT, Z71, RST, Premier, and High Country. Pricing for the Tahoe will begin at $54,295 MSRP, and the Suburban will start at $56,995 with both being capable of reaching prices upwards of $80,000 depending on the chosen trim and powertrain. As a reminder, the Suburban is larger than the Tahoe, with its 13.2-inch wheelbase, it makes it an overall 15 inches larger and 0.1 inches wider than the Tahoe, however the Tahoe is 0.2 inches taller than the Suburban. Although physically different, mechanically they offer the same three powertrains. With its 10-speed automatic transmission, to provide smooth and quick gear changes, these beasts offer the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gas engine, followed by the 6.2L V8 L87 gas engine and also have available to them the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax.
