As a result of a collaboration between Chevrolet, the NASCAR Cup Series and other OEMs, the Next Gen Chevy Camaro ZL1 was unveiled today. This model will make its debut on the racetrack next season with the trio’s goal being for these race models to perform similarly to their production counterparts. This new model offers a lower greenhouse, shortened deck lid and widened track width, contributing to its coupe-like appearance and its symmetrical body design also makes it look like a production Camaro. This Camaro also provides additional features such as an increase in wheel size from 15 to 18 inches, independent rear suspension and a redesigned chassis featuring front and rear bumpers.
