There are a few steps that you will have to take in order to debadge your car. You will have to remove the adhesive before you do anything else. It will be a lot easier for you to remove the adhesive if it is warm. You can use hot water to remove the adhesive. However, the water should not be boiling because it can damage the car paint. If you are unable to remove the adhesive, then you can use an adhesive remover.
You can use just about anything to remove the badge itself. This includes dental floss, car scraper, plastic wedge and credit card. You shouldn't use a lot of force to remove the badge. If it doesn't come off easily, then you may have to apply more heat to the adhesive. You will then to clean and wax the area.
