Earlier this year, Chevrolet introduced the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 American Expedition Vehicle concept vehicle at the SEMA automotive accessories show. That concept looks a bit closer to becoming an actual production vehicle, as photographers recently captured a camouflaged test vehicle featuring many of the same features as the AEV. Chevy recently trademarked the name ZR2 Bison, fueling speculation that this would become a more extreme off-road variant of the already tough Colorado ZR2. The spyshots reveal revised front and rear fascia and a prominent snorkel on the passenger side to aid in traversing watery terrain. The concept vehicle also included a suite of enhanced suspension elements, auxiliary lighting, and protective panels to make it the most rugged off-road Colorado yet. Phillips Chevrolet of Frankfort, Lansing, and Bradley has Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory and a great selection of Colorados in stock now which we hope the Bison will join soon.
