While you are looking at the brightness of your headlights, you should check to see if they are aimed properly. If you do not know how to do this, the Phillips Auto Group team is able to check the direction the headlights are aimed in. If they are too high, the headlights can cause someone heading towards you to be blinded by the lights, which can cause them to lose focus and have an accident.

When a dealer pulls your car in to check the headlights, they recommend always changing the headlights in pairs. The reason for changing in pairs is so that your lights are even and share the same level of brightness. While you are checking the headlights on your car, you should know that your headlights are not the only lights to keep an eye on. You should check all lights at the same time and for this to be done properly, you should have someone push on the brake while you check the lights from the outside.
