The long awaited 8th generation mid-engine Chevrolet Corvette has been revealed!  The C8 will be the first-ever production Corvette that places the engine behind the driver for improved weight distribution to improve performance. With 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque when equipped with performance exhaust, it offers the most horsepower and torque for any entry-level Corvette, and when equipped with the Z51 Performance Package, it can hit 0-60 in under three seconds. If that's not enough, the 2020 Corvette will be loaded with industry-pioneering technology to enhance performance, safety and comfort. And the whole package will remain remarkably affordable with a promised starting MSRP under $60,000.

"Corvette has always represented the pinnacle of innovation and boundary-pushing at GM. The traditional front-engine vehicle reached its limits of performance, necessitating the new layout," said GM President Mark Reuss. "In terms of comfort and fun, it still looks and feels like a Corvette, but drives better than any vehicle in Corvette history. Customers are going to be thrilled with our focus on details and performance across the board."
