It seems like we waited forever for the new 8th generation midengined Chevrolet Corvette to go into production. And then after only a few short months, production was halted in response to the Covid 19 pandemic. But there’s great news, Corvette fans! The Corvette assembly line in Bowling Green, Kentucky will resume production next week. It is scheduled to resume producing the 2020 Corvette coupe until July 13th, at which time it will begin producing the convertible. 2020 Corvettes will be produced until November, when the 2021 model year will begin coming off the line.
