Chevy Bolt Leads the Charge in GM’s Electric Future

666 × 410

The Chevrolet Bolt EV has already been impressing drivers for a few years now, with its ample electric range, engaging ride quality, roomy interior, and affordable price tag. In a press conference today, General Motors executives announced details of their new electric vehicle platform, including big news for the Bolt. An updated version of the current Bolt is due in late 2020, followed by the yet-to-be-seen 2022 Bolt EUV, a larger, crossover version of the Bolt. And that’s just the beginning of GM’s electric portfolio, expected to expand to 22 vehicles by 2023. “Our team accepted the challenge to transform product development at GM and position our company for an all-electric future,” said Mary Barra, GM chairman and CEO. “What we have done is build a multi-brand, multi-segment EV strategy with economies of scale that rival our full-size truck business with much less complexity and even more flexibility.” Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort, Lansing, and Bradley has Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory, including several Bolts in stock now!
