Chevy Blazer Beats Honda Passport

1360 × 766

It’s March and everyone’s got bracket fever, including the folks over at MotorTrend who decided to create a bracket of eight vehicles to compete for Best Family Vehicle. The first round of their challenge sees the Chevy Blazer go head to head with another two-row, midsize crossover, the Honda Passport. MotorTrend was impressed by the Blazer’s Camaro-inspired style and performance, saying, “The Blazer is remarkably buttoned down and engaging to drive for the segment.” They also liked the Blazer’s spacious backseat and rear doors that open wide to make installing car seats and getting kids in and out easy. Though MotorTrend found the Blazer and Passport to be fairly closely matched, the Blazer won out thanks to the Blazer’s performance and technology: “The Blazer is powerful, composed, and fun to drive while offering the latest in infotainment, a shockingly spacious rear seat, and creature comforts like heated seats and power ports for devices. Its stylish sheetmetal helps it stand out in a sea of lozenge-shaped crossovers. The Blazer is the family vehicle that actually appeals to the whole family, and for that reason it upsets the Honda on its home court.” Phillips Chevrolet of Frankfort, Lansing and Bradley has Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory, including a great selection of sporty Blazers.
