2020 Silverado Diesel Gets Top MPG

1280 × 592

Chevrolet has just announced the results of EPA testing  for the all-new, redesigned 2020 Chevy Silverado with the available, all-new 3.0L Duramax turbo-diesel engine, and the great news is that it delivers an EPA-estimated 33 mpg highway and 23 city in rear-wheel-drive models. That makes this Silverado the most fuel efficient truck on the market, beating out even mid-size trucks. But that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice power or performance – the Duramax provides 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, and is capable of towing up to 9,300 pounds and a max payload of 1,870 pounds. “We set out to offer light duty truck customers the best of diesel – outstanding fuel economy, great horsepower and responsive torque – plus unexpected levels of refinement,” said Nicola Menarini, director for diesel truck engine program execution. “We leveraged our global diesel expertise to make sure the all-new 3.0L Duramax turbo-diesel engine offers the impressive performance and durability our truck customers demand.” Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort, Lansing and Bradley has Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory, including a huge selection of Silverados ready to get to work for you.
