200,000 Chevy Electric Vehicles Going Strong

1200 × 630

The Chevrolet Bolt EV and Chevy Volt have earned plenty of awards and accolades since they were first introduced in 2011 for the Volt and 2017 for the Bolt, but this week we learned something even more impressive about Chevrolet’s electric duo. With over 200,000 battery-propelled vehicles sold, not a single one has needed its battery pack replaced because of degradation. Compare that to the Nissan Leaf, with one model recording an average of 51 percent degradation after seven years of use. With the Chevy Bolt providing 236 miles of electric range on a single charge and the Volt offering 53 electric miles and 420 miles total on a full tank of gas, both vehicles are in it for the long haul. And so are their batteries! Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort, Lansing, and Bradley has Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory, including a great selection of Bolts and Volts in stock now!
