Chevy Bolt Adds Range for 2020

947 × 639

The Chevrolet Bolt EV has already been impressing drivers for a few years now, with its ample electric range, engaging ride quality, roomy interior, and affordable price tag. And for the 2020 model year, the Bolt is getting even better with an EPA-estimated 259 miles of range on a full charge, a 21-mile improvement over the outgoing model year. Changes to the battery cell chemistry allowed this improved range without impacting the exterior of the battery. “The Bolt EV set the benchmark for long-range, affordable electric vehicles, and we’re excited to raise the bar by offering nearly 10 percent more EPA-estimated range for the 2020 model year,” said Tim Grewe, director of Global Battery Cell Engineering and Strategy. “At Chevrolet we’re constantly listening to customer feedback and we heard the desire for more range. The team worked diligently to find ways to improve battery energy, giving customers the confidence to go more than the extra mile.”  If you’ve been considering making the switch to electric with a Bolt EV, there’s never been a better time than now, with generous incentives that have our entire inventory of Bolt priced 20-25% off MSRP.
