• New Business Vehicles Can Mean Big Tax Deductions

    12/19/2014 4:23:11 PM - by Amy Riley

If you own a business and rely on Chevy vehicles to keep your business running, you might consider updating your fleet before the month is through. That’s because you’ll want to get your vehicle purchases on the books before the end of the year, so you’ll be able to deduct them on your 2014 taxes. On the Chevrolet Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban, and Traverse you could be eligible for up to a total of $25,000 in tax deductions when you purchase them before 12/31/14. This deduction also includes Express vans . Work trucks and vans are eligible for the biggest savings, but SUVs, sedans, and even sports cars are also eligible as long as they’re bought for your business. This includes everything from a Cruze to a Camaro! So check out our inventory online and stop by Phillips Chevrolet before the year ends to take advantage of these big tax incentives.

    * Each individual’s tax situation is unique; therefore, please consult your tax professional to confirm vehicle depreciation deduction and tax benefits.

  • Upcoming Chevys Will Share Corvette Design Cues

    12/18/2014 4:17:57 PM - by Amy Riley

In the next few years as some Chevy sedan models are redesigned, you may notice a certain family resemblance to their high-powered sibling, the Corvette Stingray. Subtle design elements like the Stingray’s hexagonal taillights and taut, sporty hood should start popping up in the next generation of several Chevy models. "As Malibu and Cruze and Volt come to market, you'll be able to see a subtle link between some of the form vocabulary for all of them and Corvette," said Ed Welburn, General Motors’ Vice President of Global Design. "I always look at the hood of the Corvette and the sectioning, the way it's taut, very lean, very sporty. That will be a part of really everything we do for Chevrolet." Everyone here at Phillips Chevrolet is a huge fan of the Corvette Stingray’s looks, so we can’t wait to see how it influences to rest of the great Chevy lineup!

  • Midnight Edition Chevy Impala Coming Soon

    12/15/2014 4:19:05 PM - by Amy Riley

Last month at the SEMA trade show, Chevrolet introduced a concept version of the Impala called “Blackout,” with a black Chevy bowtie, blacked-out grille, and an all-black leather trimmed interior. The concept car was so popular that Chevy just announced it will soon be going into production as a “Midnight Edition.” The Chevy Impala’s sleek design and 305 horsepower V6 engine already make it a force to be reckoned with, and this appearance package that includes a black grille surround and rear spoiler, painted mirror caps, and 19-inch aluminum wheels, turns the intimidation factor up to 11. We expect the clock to strike Midnight Edition in late spring, but in the meantime you can easily recreate most of this look with aftermarket accessories on one of the many Chevrolet Impalas already in stock here at Phillips Chevrolet.
